​How Psychologlyphs are
​Serving Our Community

We are serving our community with an initial grassroots movement in Charlottesville, Virginia in partnership with local schools, youth mentorship programs, and dedicated licensed clinicians working in social work and private practice. As we grow, our intention is to make materials available to a wider audience, to expand our reach as the already existing demand for healthy relationships opens to this language. Our process combines intention and planning, while allowing room for emergence, discovery and adaptation.

Accomplishments to-date:

2018 - 2023
 

1. Psychologlyphs language, images, writings, and sample teaching PDFs developed over 5 years.
   1. 70+ finished paintings,
   2. 200+ sketches and writings drafted for finalizing. 
2. Acquired studio space (2021 - present).
3. Funding received 2018 - Spring 2024.  Currently seeking funding. 
4. Clinician roster for peer-reviews.
5. Guest speaking & teaching at:
   1. University of Virginia, Dalai lama Fellowship Program, Contemplative Sciences Center
   2. University of Virginia Children's Hospital's Mental Health Awareness Month Guest Speaker Series
   3. Women Rising Rooted, an invitational women's retreat in Keswick, Virginia
   4. Insight Meditation Community of Charlottesville, Young Adult Sangha retreat teaching
   5. Charlottesville City Schools Art Extensions Program
6. Website rebuild initiated for the Right-Relationship Project.

Vision & Plan for our Future:

1. Developing yearlong REM Health curricula to support the k-12 and collegiate academic years.
   1. Cultivating individual REM wellness & skills.
   2. Preventing Trauma, and  Healing & Restoration after Trauma
2. Creative empowerment training through the Creative Spiral Method (developed and to be disclosed at a later date).
3. Inviting Experts to teach Right-Relationship (RR) from their respective expertise, including:
4. Establish and sustain training & practice groups for mental healthcare providers, teachers, and parents with sub-groups facilitated by trained and licensed facilitators.

Additional Funding will help Anna and her team to

• Finish painting all Psychologlyphs currently in sketch form.
• Publish a physical Psychologlyph Card Deck. 
• Develop the Right Relationship Virtual Library.
  • Refine our Database
  • Develop and deliver curriculum.
  • Film, edit and upload educational videos for each glyph. 
  • Invite guest speakers & instructors
  • Make the library available in paid form for those with financial means. 
  • Make the library available with generous discounts or in gift forms for underserved groups. 
• Scale curriculum delivery. 
• Cover costs of live teaching, trainings, presentations for underfunded or under-supported groups and schools. 
• Potential Hires: videographer and editor,  a copy editor, and assistant to manage the online membership. 

Financially, These projects have been funded by Anna's art sales, and gift economy. This includes financial backers who believe in the project, purpose, and potential.
From 2019 - present, the project has received over $150,000 in gifts and art sales. 

With that money Anna was able to:

• Development over 200 new Psychologlyph images.
• Enlist licensed clinicians for peer review.
• Hire an intern 2020-2021.
• Secure a studio. 
• Build a team of highly skilled and passionate volunteer and advisors 2021-present.
• ​Maintain minimum expenses.
